Vigelpiken Summit Hike: Sweden-Norway Border

Challenge yourself and conquer one of the highest peaks in the area, located just across the Norwegian border – Vigelpiken, rising 1,361 meters above sea level.

 

Challenge yourself and conquer one of the highest peaks in the area, located just across the Norwegian border – Vigelpiken, rising 1,361 meters above sea level. Once at the summit, you can see all the way to Dovrefjell in the west and Sylarna in the east. The views are truly incredible.

 

We begin our hike through the mountain birch forest along Lake Tufsingen. As we reach the barren alpine terrain, we are met by a dramatic landscape with the mighty peak rising ahead of us. The trek is challenging and steep in places, but with a bit of determination, we will reach the top together.
